MOBILE PHYSICAL THERAPY · FORT WORTH
Mobile physical therapy in Fort Worth, built around the next real task.
I provide one-on-one outpatient physical therapy at an agreed home, office, private gym, or other suitable place. Care may fit after joint replacement, a hospital stay, or a rehab plan that stopped short of your daily goals.
I do not have a Fort Worth clinic, and I cannot cover every address. Before I offer a visit, I check the exact location, current route, stage of recovery, and whether outpatient PT is the right care.
Fort Worth availability is an address-by-address answer, not a citywide promise.

Before a mobile visit
Choose the safe next step first.
A mobile PT visit is not the starting point for every new symptom. Use the faster level of care when a change is sudden, severe, or getting worse fast.
Emergency care now
Call 911 now for:
- Sudden face droop, one-sided weakness or numbness, or trouble speaking or seeing—even if the symptoms pass.
- Sudden loss of balance, a severe unexplained headache, chest pain or pressure, sudden breathing trouble, coughing blood, or fainting.
Use an emergency department now for:
- New loss of bowel or bladder control, inability to urinate, groin numbness, or fast-worsening leg weakness.
- Loss of consciousness, repeated vomiting, seizure, confusion, slurred speech, or trouble staying awake after a head injury.
- Infection with new confusion, severe breathing trouble, clammy skin, or extreme illness.
- A new deformity or a cold, pale, blue, or very numb foot.
Call 911 if you cannot travel safely.
Same-day medical care
Contact the surgeon or medical team today for:
- New one-sided calf or leg pain, swelling, warmth, redness, or color change.
- Wound drainage, growing redness or swelling, chills, or new or increasing joint pain after surgery.
- New or fast-worsening general weakness, an unexplained fall, near-fainting, or a sudden loss of daily ability.
- New inability to bear weight after an injury.
- Any head strike in an older adult, especially while taking a blood thinner.
If the right clinician cannot assess you soon—or the concern follows recent surgery—use an emergency department.
A routine PT exam may fit
PT may fit when:
- Symptoms are gradual or stable.
- No warning sign in this section is present.
- The concern is stable stiffness, weakness, low stamina, walking, stairs, transfers, balance, or return to activity.
- The plan follows your medical restrictions.
This list is not complete. If you are not sure it is safe to wait, use the higher level of care. After joint replacement, use the warning-sign guide and follow your surgical team’s instructions. Do not wait for a reply from Argan when a problem may be urgent.
Start with the stage you are in
Mobile care should match the problem you have now.
The setting is useful only when the plan is useful. I start with the task that still limits your day and the reason progress slowed.
Joint-replacement recovery still feels stuck.
One hard week is not always a plateau. I compare pain, swelling, motion, strength, walking, stairs, daily tasks, and the response later that day.
A hospital or rehab stay left you weaker.
Loss of fitness may be one part of the picture. Illness, medicines, eating, breathing, heart or nerve problems, pain, and fatigue can also affect movement. I screen how these factors affect movement. I do not diagnose illness or change medicines. When the pattern needs medical care, I will say so.
Formal PT ended, but the real goal remains.
A useful second look should not repeat the same plan. It should show what changed, what stayed limited, what was measured, and whether PT is still the right next step.
Basic mobility is back, but harder activity is not.
Walking at home does not always prepare you for stairs, a full shopping trip, uneven ground, travel, golf, a gym session, or a long workday.
If none of these situations fits, start with the broader physical therapy answers library.
Where life happens
Bring the exam closer to the real task.
At home, I can look at your usual chair, steps, walking path, or exercise space. At an agreed private gym, later care may use suitable equipment for a higher-demand goal.
The setting does not replace sound clinical judgment. It gives me a clearer view of the task, the barriers around it, and what can be practiced safely.
A one-on-one exam
I look for the reason the task is still hard.
More exercise is not always the best next step. I use the history, exam, and response to activity to decide what needs work and what may need medical follow-up.
- Symptoms and plan
- Pain, swelling, precautions, the surgical or hospital plan, medicines, and changes that may need a medical call.
- Movement and capacity
- Motion, strength, balance, walking, stamina, and the amount of help you need for daily tasks.
- The task itself
- Your chair, stairs, walking route, transfer, work setup, or activity demand—not only an exercise done in open space.
- What happens later
- How you feel during the task, later that day, and the next morning. This helps set the next dose or decide when to hold.
Two care models at one address
Mobile outpatient PT is not home health.
Both may happen at home, but the model, eligibility rules, coverage, records, and coordination are different.
Mobile outpatient physical therapy
This is outpatient PT delivered at an agreed location. At Argan, new care is self-pay and one-on-one with me. It may fit when outpatient care is safe and the real task or travel burden makes a mobile setting useful.
Home health
Home health comes through a home-health agency for people who meet its rules. It may include nursing and other services. If home health is active, I review current services and how the teams need to share information before scheduling. Self-pay does not erase payer or care-coordination rules.

Fort Worth service reality
The address comes before the appointment.
Fort Worth is large. My regular route centers on Southlake and Colleyville. Argan has no Fort Worth office and does not promise citywide coverage. I consider Fort Worth visits one address at a time.
- Exact address
- I check the full location, not only the city name or ZIP code.
- Current route
- Availability changes with existing visits, drive time, and the day’s route.
- Care setting
- The home, office, private gym, or other agreed place must be safe, private, and suitable for PT.
- Stage and goal
- I need to know what happened, what you can do now, and what still limits the day.
- Price and schedule
- I confirm the self-pay price, any travel fee, and realistic scheduling before a visit is booked.
A city page is not a promise that a route is open. The exact address, setting, schedule, and current route decide whether I can offer a visit.

Common questions
Clear answers before you book.
Does Argan serve every Fort Worth address?
No. I check the exact address, current route, schedule, stage of recovery, and whether the setting is right for care. Argan has no Fort Worth office and does not promise citywide coverage.
How soon after surgery or a hospital stay can mobile PT begin?
There is no one start date. Your health must be stable enough for outpatient PT, and you must follow the surgeon or hospital plan. Some people need home health or another level of care first.
Can I start Argan while I still receive home health?
Do not assume the two care models should run together. Current services, coverage, records, and clinical coordination must be reviewed first. Argan is not a home-health agency.
Can mobile PT help me return to golf, the gym, or work?
Those goals may fit when the plan matches your surgery or medical guidance, symptoms, strength, balance, stamina, and the real activity. No page or visit can promise clearance or a return date.
What happens if PT is not the right next step?
I will say so. I may ask you to contact the surgeon, primary-care clinician, or another provider. A mobile PT visit should not delay medical care that you need sooner.
How do self-pay, HSA or FSA cards, and an itemized receipt work?
Argan does not submit insurance claims for new care. You pay Argan directly. HSA and FSA cards are accepted, but your plan decides whether an expense qualifies. On request, I can provide an itemized receipt, sometimes called a superbill, to send to your plan. Reimbursement is not guaranteed.
